Jane Latta's Gingercake
| 2 cups |
Molasses |
| 1 cup |
Sugar |
| 1 cup |
Lard (Crisco is OK) |
| 1 cup |
Milk |
| 1 teaspoon |
Ginger |
| 2 teaspoons |
Soda |
| 4 |
Eggs |
| 2 pints |
Flour |
Beat sugar & shortening, add eggs & molasses. Sift
other dry ingredients & add to batter alternately with
milk.
Bake in two or three 9x13 inch pans at 350 degrees for 30
to 45 minutes.
