Home School Programs
Homeschool Christmas
December 9, 2009 (12-4pm)
Celebrate Christmas in 19th century style! The house
will be decorated for the season! Homeschoolers will learn
about 19th century American Christmas traditions in each
room and meet a Victorian St. Nick! Visit the kitchen
and see Christmas goodies cooking on the hearth. Learn
about Christmas for those who were enslaved on the
plantation in the cabin. Warm up by the fire and take
a snack break! Crafts are included with admission and
will include a wreath ornament and rosemary twig decoration.
Admission is $5 per person, ages 4 and under are free.
No RSVP required!
Historic Latta Plantation offers a variety of
programs for Homeschoolers, including Living History Days,
camps, school programs,
and volunteer opportunities!
