Homeschool Christmas

December 9, 2009 (12-4pm)

Celebrate Christmas in 19th century style!  The house will be decorated for the season! Homeschoolers will learn about 19th century American Christmas traditions in each room and meet a Victorian St. Nick!  Visit the kitchen and see Christmas goodies cooking on the hearth.  Learn about Christmas for those who were enslaved on the plantation in the cabin.  Warm up by the fire and take a snack break!  Crafts are included with admission and will include a wreath ornament and rosemary twig decoration.  Admission is $5 per person, ages 4 and under are free.  No RSVP required!

Historic Latta Plantation offers a variety of programs for Homeschoolers, including Living History Days, camps, school programs,
